sketchfab

I just made a sketchfab page to put my 3D characters. It lets you turn around the 3D models and play different animations, so I recommend you go there for my 3D (there's just one model for now but I'll populate it soon).

Sketchfab quick tuto: left click-and-drag to turn around the models, right click-and-drag to move the models on a plane, and next to the play/pause symbol that appear when your mouse hovers over the 3D window, the drop-down menu with the down arrow lets you choose which animation to play.

Made during a 3-days workshop about volume animation and music synchronisation. We animated without looking at the computer, and using things to show us where the character was before, like in the old times.

Fait dans le cadre d'un workshop de trois jours sur l'animation en volume (sans regarder l'ordinateur, à l'ancienne, avec juste des repères pour connaître la position d'un objet à l'image précédente), et sur la synchronisation musicale

Between waters

Going to the seaside for the holidays, a kid swims, exploring the ocean, always deeper, always further away from the bustle of the beach.
2D animation, with some 3D side animation.

The small introduction blurb in german and french says "Can't you hear what promises the Erlking whispers to me?"
It's from Goethe's Erlkönig poem.

The sound is a bit low on this one, you might want to turn up your computer's sound level.

Lors de vacances à la mer, un enfant part à l'exploration de l'océan, toujours plus profond, toujours plus loin du bruit de la plage.
Animation 2D, avec des animations additionnelles en 3D.

La phrase d'introduction est tirée du poème 'Der Erlkönig' de Goethe.

Le son est un peu bas, il vaut mieux monter le son de son ordinateur.
